Harrison's description (1911):

The church is mainly E.E. with Dec. tower and stone spire (128 feet high), and some Perp. details. There is a fine monument to Sir John Fefferay, Baron of the Exchequer, and his wife, erected in 1612; and a slab to the memory of the founder of the Jefferay family. Note: inscription to Mr. Thomas Eases, the non-juring vicar, 1717; and Pelham buckles on the tower.
