Will of Mary Lambert of Battle

In the Name of God Amen I Mary Lambert of Battle in the County of Sussex being weak in Body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding (praised be God for the same) Do this first Day of July in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty two make Publish and declare my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) first I Give and Bequeath unto my Nieces Elizabeth and Mary Archer Daughters of my sister Eleanor Archer of Battle aforesaid Widow all my Wearing Apparel of all Sorts the same to be delivered to them forthwith after my decease by my Executors hereafter named Also I Give and Bequeath unto my said Sister Eleanor Archer for and during her natural life the use and usage only of all my Household Goods Plate Linen and Household furniture and also the Interest and proceed of all my ready money securities for Money and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and from and after her decease I Give and dispose of my said Household Goods Plate Linen and Household furniture ready money securities for Money and all other my Personal Estate as follows (that is to say) I Give and Bequeath unto my said Nieces Elizabeth and Mary Archer Daughters of my said sister Eleanor Archer all my Household Linen of every sort Denomination or kind soever the same to be delivered to them after the decease of their Mother the said Eleanor Archer by my Executors hereafter named to their own proper use and uses equally to be divided between them share and share alike Also I Give and Bequeath unto my said Nieces Elizabeth and Mary Archer the sum of fifty Pounds apiece the same to be paid to them respectively by my Executors within six Months next after the decease of my said sister Eleanor Archer to their own proper use and benefit All the Rest residue and remainder of my Estate Household Goods and furniture Ready Money securities for Money and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever from and after the decease of the said Eleanor Archer I Give and Bequeath unto my Nephews John Thomas and William Archer and my said Nieces Mary and Elizabeth Archer equally to be divided between them share and share alike to his her and their own proper use and uses the same to be had and taken by then forthwith after the decease of their Mother the said Eleanor Archer And lastly I make Nominate Constitute and appoint my said Nephews Thomas and William Archer Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament and do revoke all former Wills by me made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Mary Lambert have set my hand and seal the Day and Year above written The mark and seal of X Mary Lambert (Attestation Clause)
