In the name of god Amen I John Hollowboone of Bolney in the County of Sussex yeoman doe make this my last will & testamente in man(n)er & forme following this seaventh day of January anno 1644

First I bequeath to Allmighty god steadfastly beleeving to be saved by the merits death and Passion of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Item I give & bequeath unto my wiffe one Iron pott w(hi)ch is at my sonne John & a little Iron marmelette,.,

Item I give unto my Dather Jane five pounds to bee paid her w(ith)in six mounthes after my decease ~~ Item I give unto my Dather Ellsebeth five pounds to bee paid here w(ith)in six mounthes after my decease,.,

Item I give unto my Dather Silvery x s(hillings) Item I give unto my granchild Mary Silvery xxx s(hillings) to bee paid her at her age of Sixteen yeers but if her Mother decease before the said tyme then it shall be paid her toward her bringing up.

Item I give unto my granchild my sones Johns Dather Sara xxx s(hillings) to be paid here at hered age of sixteene yeeres but if her father or mother decease before the said tyme then it shall bee paid here towards her bringing up My will is that if my Dather Jane or my Dather Ellisebeth doe not live to the age or tyme to receive there portions that ther portions shall bee Equally divided between the rest of my children w(hi)ch are then living & All the rest of my goods and Chatels whatsoever my debts and legasyes beinge paid my will is that it shall bee devided Equally betwene my Children my Dather Sara excepted to have but the said x s(hillings) and my will is that my Overseers shall at there discretion settle and devide my said goods and Chatles between my Children that there may noe deferance betwene them ~~

Item I apointe to bee exectutors to this my last will and Testament my sonn John and my sonn Richard

And I apointe to bee Overseers this my last will and & Testament my beloved friend John Lyntot, John Langford John Feilds
