THE King has been pleased to grant Unto William Knott, of Bognor, in the County of Sussex, Esquire, His Royal Licence and Authority, that he, and his Issue, may take and use the Surname and bear the Arms of Hotham ; in compliance with the Directions in the last Will and Testament of his Great Uncle Sir Richard Hotham, late of Wimbledon Grove, in the County of Surrey, Knight, deceased, such Arms being first duly exemplified according to the Laws of Arms, and recorded in the Heralds' Office : and also to order, that this His Majesty's Concession and Declaration be registered in his College of Arms.
