Sussex. — Valuable Freehold and small part Copyhold Estate of about 700 acres, let on lease at £400 per annum; also all the Manors or reputed Manors of Alfriston, Masse, Alfriston and Dean's-place. MESSRS. Winstanley will sell by auction, at the Auction Mart, London, on Friday, the 26th day of May, at 12 o'clock at noon, in one lot, by direction of the Right Honourable the Master of the Rolls, in a cause of Bell v. Carter. Dean's-place, Town Laine, and Hobbs Hoath Farm, comprising about 700 acres of excellent- wheat, barley, pasture, and meadow land, together with a commodious and substantial farm-house and suitable agricultural buildings, close to the village of Alfriston, which is situate on the high road between Seaford and Lewes, within 3 miles of the Berwick Station on the Brighton and Hastings Railway. 7 miles from Eastbourne, 7 from Hail&ham, 9 from Lewes, and 17 from Brighton. The whole is freehold, excepting about 72 acres; Mr. John Pennington, is the tenant, under a lease for a term which will expire at Michaelmas, 1862, at a rent of £400 per annum; there is also a windmill let off at £5 per annum.
