Will of Henry Durrant of Uckfield

In the name of God Amen whereas I Henry Durrant of Uckfeild in the County of Sussex miller did the day before the date hereof make my last Will and Testament in writeing and thereby amongst other legacies did give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Durrant widdowe the late wife of my sonne William Durrant deceased the sume of tenn pounds within one yeare next after my decease as thereby (relacon being thereunto had may more fully appeare). And for as much as my will and meaning is that shee shall have tenn pounds more I doe therefore being of sound and perfect memory (thanks bee to God) make and constitute this as a Codicil to bee annexed to my last will and Testament as parte thereof. And doe hereby give and bequeath to my said daughter Elizabeth Durrant the sume of tenn pounds more to bee paid within one yeare next after my decease. In witnes whereof I have to this my Codicill put my hand and seale this twelfth day of July in the two and thirtieth yeare of the Raigne of King Charles the second over England &c Annoq Dni 1680.
