To Lieutenant-Colonel HERMAN CLARKE, of The Place, Peasmarsh, in the county of Sussex. TAKE notice, that a bankruptcy petition has been presented against you to this Court by Lewis Schaverien (registered and trading as L. Schaverien), of 6, 7 and 8, Old Bond-street, in the county of London, Registered Moneylender; and the Court has ordered that the sending of a sealed copy of the above mentioned petition, together with a sealed copy of this order, by registered post, addressed to you, the said Lieutenant-Colonel Herman Clarke, at 3, Suffolk place, Pall Mall, in the county of London, and also a similar sealed copy of petition and a sealed copy of this order, by registered post, addressed to you at 44, Rue Aquado, Dieppe, France, and the publication of this notice in the London Gazette and in the Daily Telegraph newspaper, shall be deemed to be service of the petition upon you; and further take notice, that the said petition will be heard at this Court on the nineteenth day of July, 1921, at 12 o'clock noon, on which day you are required to appear, and if you do not appear the Court may make a receiving order against you in your absence.
