TO be sold by auction, pursuant to a Decree of the High Court of Chancery, made in a cause, Maynard Morris and another against William Morris and another, with the approbation of the Vice-Chancellor Sir John Stuart, the Judge to whose Court this cause is attached, at the George Hotel, Rye, Sussex, on Wednesday, the 3rd day of June, 1857, at five o'clock in the afternoon: A freehold estate (land-tax redeemed), called Flackley Ash, situate at Peasmarsh, in the county of Sussex, late the property of William Morris, of Peasmarsh, in the county of Sussex, Esq. , deceased. The estate comprises a capital family residence, known as Flackley Ash House, situate on an eminence, and commanding extensive views, with pleasure-grounds, and garden, stabling, and agricultural buildings; also a cottage and garden, and 92A. 3n. 21p. of arable, meadow, marsh, pasture, and woodland in high cultivation. The estate is about three miles from Rye (a station on the Ashford and Hastings Railway), and about sixteen miles from Hastings, and adjoining the turnpike-road from Rye to London.
