Will of Hannah Arkcoll of Fairlight

In the name of God Amen I Hannah Arkcoll of Fairlight in the county of Sussex being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding (thanks be given to Almighty God for the same) Do make, publish and declare my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) after payment of my just debts, funeral expenses and the charge of proving this my will, I give and bequeath unto my son, William Arkcoll, all and singular my realty, money, securities for money and all other my personal estate, property and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and what nature or kind soever the same may be and whether in possession, reversion or expectancy or due owing or belonging to me at the time of my decease, to hold the same and every part thereof unto my said son William Arkcoll his executor and administrators absolutely and for ever. And I do nominate, constitute and appoint my said son, William Arkcoll, sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. In witness whereof I the said Hannah Arkcoll have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty third day of March in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and three.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Hannah Arkcoll the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us, who in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
