Notes:

This large church was built on the site of the old Heene chapel, the plans being drawn at the same time as the architect's famous St Bartholomew's in Brighton. The tower was added in 1883. The south aisle and transept added by R. S. Hyde in 1905 and the transept later given an altar by W. H. Randoll Blacking.
