ST THOMAS À BECKET. Restored in 1840, and tower rebuilt in 1892. With the exception of the N. chapel (Dec) of chancel, this church was burnt in 1509, and rebuilt in the Tudor period. The steps leading to rood-loft and the squint remain. The tower fell in 1667. Reg. 1538.
