Harrison's description (1911):

Restored in 1856. Tower and spire rebuilt, 1603. This little church is E.E., but has some Dec. details. There is a beautiful canopied tomb in the chancel of Early Dec. work (geometrical), with a cross on it. Note: the font, which is built in the wall, and the chancel screen (modern); piscina removed to vestry; old altar slab (step of present altar); memorial tablet to Prebendary Nutt (1656); chalice, 1630; paten, 1753; curious and interesting "common place book" (in vicarage) dating from 1619.
