I LUCY HARWOOD of Sutton near Pulborough in the County of Sussex Spinster HEREBY REVOKE all testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me and DECLARE this to be my last Will which I make this Second of July One thousand nine hundred and twenty nine. 1.I APPOINT my Nephew Walter Thomas Jarvis of 12 Ford Road Arundel in the said County of Sussex and Edgar James Rogers of 9 Kirdford Road Arundel aforesaid Solicitors Clerk (hereinafter called my Trustees) to be the Executors and Trustees of this my Will and I GIVE to each of them who accepts this office a legacy of Ten Pounds free of duty in addition to the out of pocket expenses which they may incur in executing the the trusts of this my WILL. 2. I GIVE the following legacies free of duty:- (a) To my Niece Rose Humphrey the sum of Fifty Pounds (b) To my Niece Sarah Annie Cheesman the sum of Fifty Pounds (c) To my Niece Lucy Abigail Slaughter the sum of Fifty Pounds (d) To my Niece Rose Emma Taylor the sum of Fifty Pounds (e) To my Great Niece Annie Elizabeth Humphrey the sum of Fifty Pounds (f) To my Great Niece Kate Harding the sum of Fifty Pounds (g) To my Nephew the said Walter Thomas Jarvis the sum of Fifty Pounds in addition to the legacy of Ten Pounds previously given to him (h) To my Nephew Albert Edward Jarvis the sum of Fifty Pounds (i) To my Nephew Edwin Neal Jarvis the sum of Fifty Pounds (j) To my Niece Ethel Mary Fellick the sum of Fifty Pounds (k) To my Cousin Ethel Florence Sandham the sum of Twenty Five Pounds 3. I GIVE to my said Nephew Walter Thomas Jarvis the house in which I now reside together with the land adjoining and used therewith and all buildings and erections thereon whether of a temporary or permanent nature also the whole of my furniture and effects in or upon the premises absolutely 4. I GIVE the residue of my estate of whatever nature unto my Trustees Upon Trust for sale and conversion with power at their discretion to postpone such sale and conversion for such a period as they may think proper and to stand possessed of the net proceeds Upon Trust to divide the same equally between my said Nephew Walter Thomas Jarvis and my said Great Niece Annie Elizabeth Humphrey during her lifetime with power to invest the same in any of the investments authorised by law for the investment of Trust Funds and shall pay the income thereof to my said Great Niece Annie Elizabeth Humphrey during her life and at her death the said residue shall form part of her estate. Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore declared to be to the contrary I DECLARE that my Trustees shall have the power in their absolute discretion to pay over to the said Annie Elizabeth Humphrey during her life the whole or any part of the capital of her share of my residuary estate IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day and year first before written...LUCY HARWOOD...SIGNED AND DECLARED by the said Lucy Harwood the Testatrix as and for her last Will in the presence of us both present at the same time who in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as Witnesses...Harry T Tupper 24 Ford Road Arundel Police Constable...Winifred Mary Tupper 24 Ford Road Arundel Housewife.
