Patent Law Amendment Act, 1852. Office of the Commissioners of Patents for Inventions. Notice is hereby given, that - 2432. And Edward Funnell, of 54, East Street, Brighton, in the county of Sussex, Watch and Clock Manufacturer, has given the like notice in respect of the invention of "a self acting alarum which can be fixed on tenders, guards compartments, or other parts of railway trains for preventing collisions. " As set forth in his petition, recorded in the said office on the 30th day of September, 1861.
