WHEREAS a Petition of Samuel Putland, formerly of Lavatory-square, Saint Leonard's-on-Sea, Sussex, then of Ewhurst, in the said county, then of Robertsbridge, in the same county, then of Silver-hill-terrace, Saint Leonard's-on-Sea aforesaid, then of Middle-street, Rye, in the said county, then of Hoad's-cottages, Rye aforesaid, then of No. 7, Tower-street, Rye aforesaid, but now of Oak's-cottage, Westfield, in the said county, Surveyor, an insolvent debtor, having been filed in the County Court of Sussex, at Hastings, and an interim order for protection from process having been given to the said Samuel Putland, under the provisions of the Statutes in that case made and provided, the said Samuel Putland is hereby required to appear before the said Court, on the 8th day of October next, at one of the clock in the afternoon precisely, for his first examination touching his debts, estate, and effects, and to be further dealt with according to the provisions of the said Statutes; and the choice of the creditors' assignees is to take place at the time so appointed. All persons indebted to the said Samuel Putland, or that have any of his effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to Mr. William Blackman Young. Clerk of the said Court, No. 78, High-street, Hastings, the Official Assignee of the estate and effects of the said insolvent.
