The church is an ancient edifice, built of stone, in the early style of English architecture. The living is a vicarage, in the patronage and incumbency of the Rev Thomas R. Jones. The annual cattle fair is held here on the first of May. There is also in this parish an excellent free school, supported by voluntary contributions.
