The answere of John Kinge clerke parson of Albourne made the second daie of August 1603;-

1.-To the first he answereth That there are communicants in his parishe fourescore or thereaboute.

2.-To the second he answereth There is no Recusant man or woman in his parishe.

To the third he answereth That everie one receaveth the communion which by the lawes of this land are bound to receave and fitt.

4.-To the fourth he answereth he is surelie parson of Albourne, and hath no other benefice; his parsonage is valued at xvi s x d in the Kinge's booke, and is litel more worth.

5.-To the fifth he answereth that within his parishe there is a prebend called the prebend of Bushoppshurste in the cathedrall church of Chichester; the lande is worth some score poundes by the yeare and payeth onelie to the parson for tiethes thereof xiij s iiij d yearlie.

To the 6th yt is answered before.

7.- To the vijth he supposeth that the Lady Abergavennie is patronesse.
