Body:

In Bexhill 225, and in Brightling 195, communicants. No man or woman recusant, or backward in religion. Thomas Pie Doctor in Divinity and so qualified by the Statute holdeth the said two benefices whereof Bexhill is a vicarage and Brightling a prebend which belonged to the Collegiate church of Hastinges now by dissolution come to the King's handes. Patron of Bexhill is the Lord Bishop of Chichester, and of Brightling is Sir George Browne Knyght, by grant from his mother the Lady Vicountesse Montague during her life.
