Petworth, Congregational Church - Registration for solemnizing marriages.

NOTICE is hereby given, that a separate building, named the Petworth Congregational Church, situated in Golden-square, in the town and parish of Petworth, in the county of Sussex, in the district of Petworth, being a building certified according to law as a place of religious worship, was, on the 8th day of October 1851, duly substituted and registered for solemnizing marriages therein, pursuant to the Act of 6th and 7th Wm. IV., cap. 85, in lieu of Petworth Independent Chapel, the registry of which had been cancelled in consequence of the same having been disused as a place of worship by the Congregation on whose behalf it had been previously registered.
Witness my hand this 11th day of October 1851.
