Parham is a parish 1 ½ miles north of Storrington, and 10 south-east from Petworth, in the hundred of West Easewrith, rape of Arundel, Thakeham union; its area is 1,264 acres. The living is a rectory, value £100 per annum, in the patronage of the Hon. Robert Curzon, and incumbency of the Rev. George Palmer M.A. Parham House, is the seat of the Hon. R. Curzon and Lady De la Zouche, is a fine mansion, most eligibly situate in a rich park, abounding with dear and stately groups of oak and other trees.
